The End Of The Semester, As Told By "Bob's Burgers"
Wired

It may seem like the end of first semester just ended, but here we are once again at the end of second semester. Summer, internships, jobs, friends and family are just beyond all of the deadlines and exams that are lurking on the horizon. Whether you're Tina, Louise, or any character in between, you'll probably find yourself relating to "Bob's Burgers" at least once at the end of the semester.

1. When you realize you only have a week to finish the research paper you put off

20 pages shouldn't take me too long to write, right?

2. And then you spend the next 6 days freaking out about how it's due in a week

*Still doesn't start writing paper*

3. When you finally sit down to write that paper the night before it's due

Yeah, I probably shouldn't have waited that long.

4. When you finally finish that paper at 5 a.m. and realize you're officially done with that class

You're just that much closer to summer.

5. When you try asking your professor to boost your grade

But professor, I wasn't asleep in class every lecture!

6. And then when you realize no matter how hard you try, it won't work, but you do it anyway

"I know you said you don't give extra credit, but can you make an exception?"

7. When you thought you wouldn't get a good grade on your final project, but you do

"I honestly don't know how I pulled that off."

8. When you realize you would need a 150% on the final to get an A

It's still possible, right?

9. Telling a classmate you'll see them in the final exam like

10. When you swore you would get straight A's this semester, but don't

I guess I wasn't destined to get straight A's.

11. When it's the middle of study period and you're ready to give up

*lays on floor for hours*

12. When the people you're sitting near in the library won't stop talking

It's a library, not a club.

13. When you stay up all night studying and eat 2 Domino's pizzas in the process

Calories don't count during finals week, right?

14. Mentally preparing yourself for the 12 hours of studying you plan to do in one day

I'm going to make it through. I need to make it through.

15. When you finally finish all of your work for the semester and realize it's officially summer

Congratulations on making it through another semester! We'll see you next year.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
