The characters of the sitcom "Friends" are all so iconic, and even though they're in their 20s during the show, they really seem to understand how college students feel throughout the semester.

The elation you feel when you see all of your friends as soon as you get back on campus.

Listening to professors going over the syllabus and realizing how many exams, projects, papers, and assignments are in store over the course of the semester.

Getting time to rest after the whirlwind that is the first week of classes.

Realizing that your schedule isn't as ideal as it seemed during class registration.

Trying to gas yourself up and remind yourself that you can do it and you were smart enough to get into this school in the first place.

That one day when its FREEZING. COLD. and of course you have at least 3 classes to walk to on opposite ends of campus.

Trying to hold onto your good grades and high GPA, but they're slowly getting away from you.

Getting sick at the LEAST opportune time from that kid next to you in class who can't keep his germs to himself.

Listening to that one kid in your seminar class drone ON and ON for ten minutes about NOTHING.

Staying up way too late for no reason and having to drag yourself out of bed for your 8:30 am class the next day.

Getting out of a really hard exam and ranting with all of your friends in the class about how unfair the second open ended question was.

Walking around in a delirious fog after a really hard week.

Doing really well on that exam you thought you failed and feeling like nothing can take you down.

When class registration for next semester comes around, and people start asking what you plan to major in or what you want to do with your life.

Watching all of your classes fill up as you wait for your registration time.

Getting into at least some of the classes you wanted!

Having a week where nothing is really going on, but just knowing how busy the next few weeks will be.

Going through hell, but knowing that semester break is right around the corner.

When you're trying to go to bed early for once, but the people down the hall are blasting music so loudly that you can't even hear yourself think.

Thinking group projects were over after high school, but being sadly mistaken and having to hound that ONE KID in your group that never pulls their weight.

When your professors assign you papers and projects due the week before finals.

When someone asks you for a favor during finals week.

Getting through finals without losing your mind!

When you're supposed to be happy that you're going home, but you're also so sad to say goodbye to your friends that live so far away that you won't see until the new semester starts.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
