Before you label yourself as what kind of "makeup user" or how much you decide to put on your face and how often, stop.
No matter how much you decide to wear or not wear is okay and validated. Why? Because it's your face.
I kind of wish we didn't have to talk about this still, but I'm glad to see that it's starting to take a step in the right direction. We have individuals hyping each other up whether they did a complex eye-shadow or decided to rock a bare face. That's the way it should be, right? Being the hype man you never knew you needed or keeping your mouth shut.
Wrong. It's 2017 and you still hear "Well, I NEVER need to put that much makeup on in order to look good!" I bet you don't Claire, now take a seat and let the people that like to contour enjoy their life without you being so pretentious.
Let's get something straight. Nobody needs makeup. We can all live and function properly without concealer. It makes some people more comfortable with themselves and gives them more confidence.
Other people like to experiment with products and see what looks they can create and they view it as an art or a hobby. For some people, it's their career. Regardless of the reason, let them put whatever they want on their face without you making a sour face because they look good and you know it. Also, props to them for getting out of bed earlier. That is pure DEDICATION.
The alarm clock is normally the deciding factor in whether or not I decide to apply makeup that day if we're being honest. I normally sleep through it and have to go out the door without even grabbing some mascara, and that's totally fine! However, I might spend an hour on my makeup the next day, give it or take a few minutes depending on how sidetracked I get with singing.
The wonderful thing about makeup is that you can wear it as frequently as you desire, so don't ruin that for the rest of us with your snide comments, alright? Bottom line, we are comfortable in our skin and will continue to do whatever we want with it, so you might as well find something else to complain about, like gas prices or something else that is entirely out of your control.
