9 Self Care Tips To Remember When Prepping For Finals Week

There are few things in life that are as stressful than finals. It's the one week where time seems to stand still and fly by all at once. Between the nonstop studying and the late nights at the library, your head spins.

But even (and especially) during finals week, even when it feels like all is lost, you still need to take care of yourself.

1. Put Some Music On And Dance

Take a few minutes to shake away the stress with a catchy song and some awkward-looking dancing.

2. Eat Something Delicious

Make your favorite foods and invite some friends over! Just have a good night with lots of random conversations and even more laughter.

3. Watch A Few Episodes Of Your Favorite Shows

Some mindless binge watching never hurt anyone.

4.  Take A Bubble Bath And Put On A Face Mask

We all deserve to experience this kind of luxury. So go to Lush, get some amazing products and treat yourself!

5. Invest In Your Sleep Schedule

Take the time to make sure that you're sleeping through the night. Lay off the coffee for a while and get some shut eye before those exams.

6. Hit The Bar

We all need to let loose every once and a while, right? Go out and have a night that you'll never forget.

7. Gaming

Plug in and let yourself get lost in another world. Become the character that you've always wanted to be.

8. Deep Clean Everything

A clean home is a happy home. Go through everything and take a break from the books. It may be just the distraction that you're looking for.

9. Reading

Curl up with a good book, some hot chocolate and your pet next to you, and just let your imagination wander.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
