Dear School Year, I'm Ready For Summer
Aubrey Muratorri

Everyone is looking forward to the end of the school year.

This is the time everyone is looking forward to their classes ending and summer beginning or graduating high school or college. You look forward to being able to do whatever you like whenever you like it. You can work more, hang out with friends more, go out more. There's so much more you can do in the summertime that makes everyone happier.

The sun is warm and shining which puts people in better moods. You can go to the beach or even have boat days with friends or family. You can go to the lake and visit all the shops or sit on the beach - whichever you prefer. You have concerts to look forward to and seeing everyone that you may have not seen in a while.

You start worrying less about school, maybe even skipping classes now because you are just waiting for this last semester to end so you can sleep in and not worry or stress about school. You don't have to worry about the homework you have to do every night or the cramming the night before a test.

Summer time is stress free.

Summer is the best time of the year. You go out and meet new people, make new friends, enjoy the sun, and so much more. Make every summer memorable every year. Make it the best summer each and every year. Live your dreams and enjoy your life. You're only young once, enjoy it.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
