8 Ways To Save Money For Spring Break

It is already nearing the end of January. The anticipation of spring break is setting in. One thing every spring breaker worries about is money, spending and saving. Whether it is a local or far away trip, unfortunately, money is crucial. Spending money, money in case of any emergencies and the money to afford the trip. Saving can be difficult, but with these tips, you will be having a fun trip in no time.

1. Allocate Money For Each Day

Whether the spring break trip is 3, 4, 5 or how many ever days, figuring out spending ahead of the trip can save lots of money. Plan what is being spent on each day and what its use to keep track.

2. Put Money In A Special Bank Account

Pulling money out unnecessarily? If you have a PNC bank account or something like it, you will have 3 subsections. A spend, a reserve and a growth section all within your account. The growth account only allows six withdraws a month, before getting penalized. The reason for this is, over time, it builds interest and prevents people from unneeded spending.

3. Plan As Far Ahead As Possible

Planning weeks or months in advance can save people money in many ways. Hotels will occasionally raise their prices on certain days of the week or popular weeks throughout the year. Airlines will 100% do this. Each day prices increase, so it's best to buy in advance.

4. Bring As Many People As Possible

Not Only is bringing friends fun on spring break trips or trips in general, hotel costs, but rental car costs can also really add up over time. Splitting bills can make it cheaper for everyone to travel on a budget.

5. Save Money With Friends

Sure, traveling gets expensive even when splitting costs, try this. For example, each person pay or dinner on a different night, or eat in at a hotel. Cooking can save enough money for a little extra spending later.

6. Make Saving Money Like A Contest

Saving money is hard for most people. Going on a trip for spring break is anticipated highly every year. But how do you save enough money? Hold a contest. With the people traveling, set a prize for the person who saves enough money for the trip.

7. Keep Motivated

Motivation to save money for a trip when other things may be needing attention can be difficult. As your background on any device, make a collage of things that will be happening on said trip to show you why it is worth it. Also, printing out a collage to see hanging on a wall is another great way.

8. Have An Accountability Partner

People struggle with all kinds of things. It's normal. Having an accountability partner to help check in on your trips money saving can help its growth
