1. Why do you love Ole Miss?

Ole Miss has been special to me for as long as I can remember. My grandparents went here and both of my parents went to Ole Miss as well. I grew up going to the Grove and listening to my family’s stories of their time here. Being a student here is such a unique experience— it's been so sweet having my own experience here. My favorite thing about Ole Miss is the people and the true sense of family.

2. Why are you running?

Ole Miss is such a special place. The whole purpose of doing something like this was to celebrate the people who make the university what it is. I think the whole purpose of this election is to celebrate friendships and Ole Miss. I want to serve and give back to the place that has given me so much.

3. What do you hope to accomplish in the position of Miss Ole Miss?

Making people feel seen and heard and continuing to grow the culture of that here. There's so much power in the knowledge we gain from getting to know each other and learn from each other. Serving and loving Ole Miss are the biggest things I hope to accomplish in this position.

4. What does the position mean to you?

Mr. and Miss Ole Miss are people who bring people together. They represent what we want Ole Miss to feel like. The slogan of this campaign is “Our Ole Miss” because I wanted it to be everyone’s. I think it's so important when people recognize that they have a seat at the table and that they make a difference. I think this position is a unique way to serve and love Ole Miss by recognizing and celebrating the good things about the students here.

As you can see, Savannah has a heart for Ole Miss and for the students here. There is no one more genuine than her.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
