Saturday: For some, it's the day you've been waiting for, the week is finally over and all responsibilities and chances of doing anything productive are out the window. For others, it's the day to sit in pajamas and have internal debates with yourself on whether or not you want to go out and be social.
Regardless of how you decided to spend this day, drinking is most likely involved and the Saturday morning hangover is carelessly overlooked. That is until you regret all your decisions and are lying in bed begging your roommate to bring you water and Advil.
Here is your Saturday morning as told by "Grey's Anatomy":
Waking up realizing you have no classes:
Probably the best feeling and only time during the week where you can celebrate this, unless your lucky and don't have Friday classes, but some people don't have that luxury.
Passing by your hungover roommate and cheering them on to get out of bed:
Bribing them with water and food just to end up getting back into bed yourself minutes later. It's an ongoing cycle, lasting hours before you muster up the energy to get up. Usually, you leave bed for food only.
Walking into your dirty kitchen and looking at the mess and all the empty bottles:
Attempting to clean it all up, but unfortunately, once you get a whiff of alcohol you have to lay down and collect yourself. This mess usually stays there until Sunday night when you can't stand to look at it anymore.
Reevaluating ALL your life decisions:
Asking your roommates, "how old am I again?" or "why do I spend ALL of my money when I go out?" Someone help.
When you find that all 4 roommates made it home alive, together and are all out of bed:
Gotta celebrate the small victories each and every day.
Courageously checking your bank account:
Usually, this ends one of two ways, either "oh that's not too bad!" or "good lord what have I done." Oops, better luck next time.
"Breakfast":
Nothing like a leftover piece of cold pizza first thing in the morning after a night out, or whatever you decided to waste money on an order last night.
Taking your midmorning nap at around 11 a.m:
The most important and essential thing that you will do all day.
Waking up from said midmorning nap:
Dragging yourself to go get coffee just so you'll feel alive again and be able to be somewhat productive for the rest of the day.
And later that night...
After convincing yourself that you will stay in and be responsible... you inevitably end up out again.
