10 Activities That Give All Adults Child-Like Satisfaction

In This Article:

Have you ever watched those videos of "the most satisfying" things? They usually include things being perfectly cut and things of that nature. Well, I've compiled my own list of the top 10 most satisfying things now that we're adults.

1. Paying off your credit card bill!

You're finally free to load up that freshly paid off credit card with more useless crap!

2. Waking up and remembering you don't have to work!

Rarely anything ever tops this feeling. Go back to sleep little angel.

3. Reading the last page and finishing a book

Congratulations! You accomplished something! Now read another!

4. Being able to crank that music upppppp!!!!!

As long as the neighbors aren't home...

5. Cranking the car and seeing a full gas tank!

Time for that road trip to Chick-fil-A!

6. Not having to worry about waking anyone up when the microwave beeps!

As a kid, you don't wanna wake anyone up. But if you're an adult and live alone, who cares?

7. Being home alone and basking in the silence!

Hear that...it's bliss.

8. Waking up from a nap and not knowing how long you've been asleep!

Now, wipe those eye boogers and go to the bathroom.

9. Going into a movie, spoiler free!

I can't believe that Bruce Wayne was Batman all along.

10. Leaving work after a long day!

It's 5 o'clock somewhere.

Here are some examples of those times where you had my back and I forgot to pat your back for saving me:

As people ages 18-22, we’re just trying to figure out what we’re doing with our lives, our careers, our eating habits, exercise routines, sleep patterns, and other necessities for adult life. We definitely don’t take proper care of ourselves; it’s basically impossible when we have essays, tests and readings due and somehow we’re supposed to eat right, exercise and sleep. We’re doomed to get sick. I have zero experience in science but when I get sick there are certain things I do to make myself better.
