13 Times We Were All Sad Eli Manning

Our brother may not have just won the Super Bowl, but we've still felt the pain.

If you tuned into Super Bowl 50, you know one of two things: One, that the Denver Broncos secured yet another championship, and two, that Giants' quarterback, Eli Manning was presumably less than thrilled for his big brother and Broncos quarterback, Peyton. Although Eli has since explained his scared-yet-sad reaction, many speculated that it had to do with his brother now having the same number of SB wins as him. Whatever the real reason behind the haunted face may be, it's safe to say that we've all pulled an Eli at some point.

1. When it's 11:47 p.m., and you realize your term paper is due at midnight.

2. When the person in front of you takes the last of the fries in the dining hall.

3. When you don't wear a jacket out, and then it starts to rain.

4. When someone takes the elevator to the second floor.

5. When you're at an 88.45 percent, and your teacher won't round up to an AB

6. When you don't realize you're out of shampoo until you're already in the shower.

7. When your mom calls you downstairs for dinner, but it's not even ready yet.

8. When your crush tells you they want to be "just friends."

9. When someone changes the station as your favorite song comes on the radio.

10. When you pick up a random water bottle in your room and take a swig, only to find out it's not water.

11. When you realize you slept through your hardest class.

12. When your roommate decides to randomly lock the door the one day you don't have your key.

13. When you hear a knock at your door, accompanied by "RA on duty."

We feel you, Eli.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
