A year after the release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Rogue One made its way to the big screen. Rogue One takes place after Revenge of The Sith and before A New Hope. The story follows a young woman named, Jyn Erso and how she is roped in to helping the Rebels. I am an avid Star Wars fan; I just love the movies so much. I really liked this movie because it was a story with new characters and audiences got to see some familiar characters too, such as C-3PO and R2-D2 for a quick glimpse.

Further, it is amazing what movie makers can do these days. I mean they brought Peter Cushing back from the dead. Cushing played Grand Moff Tarkin in Stars Wars Episode IV: A New Hope in 1977. He died in 1994. Also, they brought back a fresh faced Princess Leia at the end and Carrie Fisher has indeed gotten old since 1977. So, CGI and other movie magic is getting better by the minute.

I really enjoyed how this was a prequel to A New Hope because the last few moments of the movie goes right into the original Stars Wars movie. That was pretty cool; I have seen A New Hope many times and when the movie went right into A New Hope for a few short moments I freaked out big time because I knew exactly what was happening. Gareth Edwards, who directed this film did an amazing job with re-creating this scene.

This Star Wars movie did not have the opening crawl that previous Stars Wars movies have had. It was quite disappointing because everyone looks forward to it.

I liked how every time the characters went to a new planet, the name of the planet was shown on screen.

Overall, I thought the movie was great. If anyone has not seen the movie yet, definitely go because it is worth it.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
