**Warning! Spoilers ahead!
1. Polaroid (Imagine Dragons)
"Love is a polaroid, better in pictures." Half the songs on this album are pure Jughead Jones mood tunes. This ballad represents all the things he wants but doesn't think he's good enough to have. I just keep replaying the scene where he tells Betty that they're no good together in my head. Over and over.
2. One Foot (Fun)
"He's been fighting all his life, and this is all I've ever known" If Archie has learned anything from his father, it's that perseverance and honesty will get you through (not that he always follows Fred's advice.) But after that finale, I've got one piece of advice for you, Archie. Keep putting one foot in front of the other.
3. For Good (Wicked Soundtrack)
"Because I knew you, I have been changed... For good." Some good ol' Veronica and Betty feels. Their friendship gives me life.
4. Shake It Off (Taylor Swift)
"I never miss a beat, I'm lightning on my feet " This one's for you, Betty Cooper. Let your inner t-swift out and keep on cruisin'.
5. Trouble (Cage the Elephant)
"Trouble on my left, trouble on my right; I been facin' trouble almost all my life." This one pretty much sums up the whole series. Riverdale is trouble.
6. Gold (Kiiara)
"Say you're sorry, honey, but you never really show." Dark-Betty vibes for DAYS. This is the song playing when she makes her grand entrance, complete with wig and black lipstick, and we were living for it.
7. King and Lionheart (Of Monsters and Men)
"Because you're a king, and I'm your lionheart." For every time Jughead almost runs and Betty pulls him back. Every time the ghosts and secrets and lies of Riverdale threatened to pull them apart, but they walked through, hand-in-hand.
8. King of Anything (Sara Bareilles)
"So many things I'd say if only I were able." Veronica slowly starts to realize that her father isn't the man she thought he was and attempts to turn her back on him and not testify on his behalf. Blackmail aside, these moments reminded me just how terrifically strong she is.
