We'll Miss You #61

Another one down.

We'll Miss You #61

Like any other season, as a Cardinals fan, early in Spring Training, you expect something big to happen- the Reyes’ situation is no different. You also expect Matheny to make some ludicrous inside move- both of which happened in the first 48 hours of ‘official’ Spring Training.

Our new and upcoming pitcher is down for the season and it sucks, but the Cardinals always seem to make it work. Every year something like this happens and every year Matheny makes the sting a little worse.

With Alex Reyes going down the first day, it gave leeway for Matheny to make his dream a reality.

The rumors have been going around for a while that Matheny wants to push Rosenthal into a starter- so now the heart attacks can start in the first and not in the ninth!

Being a Cardinals fan, you’re always waiting for the next injury announcement- but luckily for us this one came early. It’s not a secret that the pitchers in the minors are growing phenomenon’s, so hopefully we find a new shining star this Spring, in time for Opening Day 2017.

Losing Reyes is the first of what is sure to be another year of Cardinals surprises, but like any other year, we’ll show the league we’ve still got what it takes to compete.

It’s sad that we’re down the #6 prospect in the league, but on the plus side, at least he’ll be nice, strong, and ready for the 2018 season.

Cardinal Nation will always be behind you, Alex- We can’t wait to see you healthy for 2018!

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
