I am getting married in a year and a few months!! How exciting is that? However, weddings and honeymoons are expensive! So, this next year will be a time of saving! My 2020 resolution is to save up as much as I can! New year, new wallet! That's how the saying goes, right?
1. Don't get rid of your change
If you save it, you'll be surprised how many groceries it can pay for!
3. Have a no spend week once a month!
Don't go out of buy anything new for a whole week. It sounds harder than it really is!
4. Have date nights at home instead of going out!
GiphyThey don't have to be watching that movie you've seen 97 times. Mix it up! Cook a fun dinner, play a new game, or take on a project together!
5. When you do go out have some inexpensive date nights!
Dates don't have to break the bank — here's a list of inexpensive options!
6. Freeze your leftovers, don't throw them away
GiphyIf you've cooked a big meal and can't eat it all, freeze the leftovers! Then you have a meal for another night!
7. Learn a new skill
Learn how to cut your own hair, knit, or do your own nails! That's one less thing you'll have to pay for.
8. Find an app you can use to get free gift cards!
GiphyI have a couple apps like S'more and Lucky Day. Free is free, might as well take advantage of it!
9. Cook at home more! Learn a copy cat recipe for your favorite fast food meal!
Those groceries you paid for with change? Use them to cook a delicious meal in the comfort of your own kitchen!
10. Make DIY gifts for your friends and family!
GiphyHomemade gifts not only help you save money, but they show you really care! Your family and friends will be thrilled.
