As many (not all, I know) of you know, snap chat has a feature where you can see what you posted on your story a year or two years ago. In other words, it's a really good way to bring up all the feels at once.
January of my senior year, I went on a trip to Spain, Italy, Monaco, and France with 18 other classmates, three of which are my best friends, and two teachers I love. It was 10 days of amazingness and cultural adventures as we explored various parts of Europe. Being surrounded by people I love made it all the better, and I loved every moment of it.
Last week, I began receiving notifications like the one I made the article cover. Day by day, I got updates of my adventures, and I knew I couldn't suffer through the feels alone.
I made a group chat for my friends, Leah, Katy, and Maggie, who had all gone on the trip with me. Day after day, I would get pictures from when we were at the Mediterranean Sea, The Leaning Tower of Pisa, Sagrada Familia, and so many more. We laughed, joked, and remembered together. It was a 10 day break from all the stresses of the world where I got to eat my body weight in Nutella and see some of the wonders of the world. (not actually but they were super duper cool)
We are all off in our separate parts of the US going to college, but, whenever we get together, we still take time to reminisce. Who knows if we will ever be able to go on another adventure together, which is understandable considering we all have our own very separate lives, but I would love to try.
Almost exactly two years ago, I went on the adventure of a lifetime, and I'm still not over it.
