25 Reasons Our Moms Are So Remarkable

We love our mothers, grandmothers, and other mother-like figures dearly, but often forget to show them how much we love an appreciate them. This Mother's Day remind those women in your life why you are grateful for them, and let us remember all of those who we celebrate with in heaven.

These are just some of the things that make you motherly women amazing:

1. You're always there for me.

2. You're really there for everyone.

3. You've given me life (physically and mentally).

4. You're a human sized cook book.

5. You know how to cheer others up.

6. You take care of those around you.

7. You even put others before yourself.

8. You always know what's best.

9. And you still love me when I don't listen to you.

10. You love me through all of the highs and lows of life.

11. You always make sure I am happy.

12. You know when something is wrong.

13. And you're pretty good at fixing it.

14. You know how to multitask.

15. You take on more than you can handle yet somehow get it all done.

16. You put so much on the line for me.

17. You volunteer so much for things I'm involved in.

18. You drove me all over the place throughout the years.

19. You are my biggest support.

20. You always strive to give me more than you ever had.

21. You always make sure I'm never alone (again, physically and mentally).

22. You set an example for not only me, but everyone around you.

23. You always make sure to tell me "good morning."

24. You are willing to sacrifice anything for me.

25. You have taught me everything I know (and continue to teach me).

I hope that I may take everything you've taught me and can one day be at least half the mom to my children that you've been to me. You will always be the best mother, and I will always love and need you no matter how old I get.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
