We all worry. We worry about work, school, family, friends, money, failure, life in general. The list could go on and on. Many of us are guilty of over-worrying. It is what keeps most of us up at night. When we over worry, it causes stress and anxiety. Worrying is a part of life, but when it gets in the way of us enjoying life, it becomes a problem.
Worrying is a habit for some. Like any other habit, it can go away if you let it. It is a difficult habit to do away with. Telling someone to "stop worrying" is easier said than done. You don't know that person's situation they are stressing over. However, what good does it make if we all spend the rest of our lives worrying about the things we can't control?
As we approach a new year and a new decade, many will worry about what the new year and years to come will bring. Why worry about what is yet to come? You are the one who is in control on how you react to your life. Embrace what is yet to come. Do not let your mind get filled with so much worry you can't control it. The future is scary, but it can be a "good" scary. What that simply means is yes many changes are happening and will continue to happen, but embrace those changes. Don't be afraid. If you worry for the rest of your life, you will miss out on so much. Life is so sort. Live it while you can. Leave behind your worries and move forward living your life in a more peaceful and positive way.
