Boyfriend, girlfriend, wife, husband. No matter what stage of life you are with your significant other, there are certain milestones that are just too big to forget. Some are amazing, some are sad, but all of them shape a relationship and make it the run roller coaster. I am here to present the top 10 big moments in a relationship that make the biggest impact.

1. First date.

Yes, first dates are the hardest dates you will ever go on. But the first date with the person you will be with forever will feel different; not better, but like there is more there than meets the eye.

2. Facebook official.

OK, so the date went well (insert winky face), and now you and your man friend have decided to give this new relationship a chance. Thus, you both grab your phones and let the world know "Hey! We decided to be stick to each other!"

3. First year.

You have managed a year together without killing each other, congrats! But now this isn't normal dating; now there is love. Now people are starting to notice that you have been together for a while and asking about where the relationship is heading,

4. Proposal.

He popped the question and you said yes! Now comes the fun part: planning. You have to tell the family, take the pictures and get ready for the biggest day of your life. Hard to believe this all stemmed from a first date.

5. Wedding day.

You did it! You planned, you presented and now you are Mr. and Mrs. Now you begin the rest of your lives together, creating memories that only married couples can. Now is the time for the honeymoon and the wonderful getaway.

6. First year.

Now that everything has calmed down, you begin realizing, "Oh! I live with and am married to this person!" But after that moment you remember, "Oh, that's right, I am married to my best friend."

7. First child.

You have been married for a little while and now you have a baby! Be prepared, everyone will want to hold, touch, smell and talk to the child. Your life of doing whatever you want is now over and the parenting life begins. But this doesn't mean you can't still have fun; you will just always have a third wheel that you made.

8. Five year anniversary.

Wow, has it really been five years already? Life is finally slowing down and settling into a routine. Most people are looking to renew their vows and maybe a second child. What will you do?

9. 50 year anniversary.

You have lived, loved, laughed and now you are entering 50 years of marriage. You will have young newlyweds coming up to you and asking you how you made it. It is hard to believe you have been together five decades, but there has never been a moment where the love has faded. Congratulations!

10. Death of wife/husband.

This will be the worst moment of your relationship, the moment when the one person in your life that has always been there is there no longer. Losing family is never easy, but when that person has been with you through the ups and downs of life, it makes the heart hurt even more. You never forget your first love, but you never lose the love that lasts.

Relationships are weird and hard, but the love is worth it. When God decides you have found your soulmate, you'll know that the eyes you are staring into today will be the eyes your stare into forever.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
