Emotion.

A natural instinctive state of mind from one's circumstances, mood, or relationships between them and other people. Or an instinctive or intuitive feeling that isn't like reasoning or knowledge. (dictionary; google).

Emotions. They can be tricky. People have a range of them, and sometimes, they can get to the best of us.

Relationships.

Those can also be really tricky, and people have different views on relationships. I'm here to talk about romantic ones. Out of all the emotions that us humans have, love might be the one that everyone talks about the most. Relationships are difficult, and people put a lot of work into the relationships that they have with other people.

No one said that dating is ever easy. It's like a roller coaster. Throughout the relationship, there are a lot of ups and downs. People invest a lot of time and energy into having a relationship.

That being said, if two people are in a relationship, whether they are newly dating, been dating for a while, engaged, or married; those who are in relationships should be off limits to you. They are not an option. Relationships are already hard enough the way it is. They don't need another factor added into the equation. If you like someone that is in a relationship, don't go after them. It's not cool. What if you were in a relationship, and someone went after the person that you were with? You wouldn't like it, would you?

I'm not saying that you can't have feelings for them because you can have feelings for whoever you want because that is your right. All I'm saying is not to get into the middle of their relationship and break them up. That's not okay.

Instead, take a step back, and look at your own feelings. Think of all the outcomes. Would it be worth it? What would happen if you got in the middle of their relationship? Or do you just love the drama that comes with it? Is it actually about the person, or is it all just a game to you and you just want to win the prize?

If you find yourself falling for someone that is in a relationship, seriously take a step back from the situation. Because if don't, and you play with fire, you're eventually going to get burned

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
