As a fan of John Mulaney, I have always felt like his comedy is not only extremely hilarious but at the same time completely relatable. Here are some of John's Mulaney's lines that the average person could relate to.

"I'm one of the worst drivers I have ever seen."

No matter how hard we try, we have always had bad moments as a driver. Whether it is on a daily basis or every once in a while, we have been in a situation where our driving techniques have not been the best to the point where we feel like we are the worst drivers ever.

"That guy's a bozo!"

We've all come in contact with people who are complete idiots. Whether it's someone annoying in one of your classes, someone who hangs around you quite a bit, or someone who you just run into throughout the day we've all had that moment where we've wanted to scream "That guy's a bozo!"

"Your story doesn't have a lot of details."

Whether it's a story that someone has told that you are just not following or a story that you believe may contain a lie, we've all had the moment where we need someone to add more details to their story and we have a lot like John when he says "your story doesn't have a lot of details".

"Now we don't have time to unpack all of that."

This can be taken in two ways. The first way is the literal translation of the fact that we've all had a hard time unpacking from a vacation or a move when you're extremely busy. The other way this can be interpreted is when we have a lot of emotional baggage and someone asks you a question where the answer relates to that emotional baggage you gotta tell them there's no time to fully answer that question.

"Just too anxious for a lot of things."

We've all had those times where we have felt that we are too anxious to do things especially when it comes to stepping out of our comfort zone.

"All I do is sit and dwell in the past."

All of us have had those embarrassing moments that we can not forget about it. We also have those memories that we don't ever want to forget so we turn them over and over in our minds. Often we might feel like John when he says that all he does is dwell about the past.

"We were little goblins. We were terrible."

All of us can remember our childhood memories with our siblings and friends and all of the crazy things and we realize that we were, in fact, little monsters as children.

"Hey, you could pour soup in my lap and I'd probably apologize to you."

Whether we're people who are naturally intimidated by others or if we're just people who are intimidated every once in a while, we've all had this sort of moment where we're so intimidated by someone where we would do anything to avoid confrontation with them.

8 Things I Realized After My First Semester In College

Actually, Kylie Jenner, 2018 is the year of realizing things.

The first semester of college is famous for being one of the most difficult transitions of one's young adult life. You're thrown into a completely new area where the majority of the people surrounding you are strangers in an academic environment that's much more challenging then what you've grown accustomed to for the past twelve years. On top of that, you probably share a room with another person (or even multiple people) on the lumpiest "mattress" you've ever slept on.

With this change comes a lot of questions: what do I want to major in? What am I passionate about? Is what I'm passionate about something I'm actually good at? Why does the bathroom smell like cranberry juice and vodka? What is that thing at the bottom of the shower drain?

6 Unrealistic Expectations Society Has For Young Adults

Don't let the thesaurus-inspired vocabularies in our résumés fool you. We're actually just big kids.

Well over four feet tall and 100 pounds in weight, many of us "young adults" of the world still consider ourselves children. Big, working, college-attending, beer-drinking children. We may live on our own, know how to cook noodles, and occasionally use a planner, but don't be fooled; the youthful tendencies that reside within us still make their way into our daily lives. From choosing to stay up until 3:00 a.m. playing video games on a school night to going out in 30 degree weather without a coat, we still make decisions that our parents and grandparents would shake their heads at in disappointment. So why are we expected to know exactly how to be a wise, professional, sensible adult? It's not that we're irresponsible (for the most part, anyway). It's that we are young, inexperienced, and still have the sought-after, enthusiastic mentality that we can do and be whatever we want, which has not yet been tarnished by the reality of the world. These are just a few of the unrealistic expectations that society has for young adults.
