The Miami Heat will face the Boston Celtics in a crucial Game 4. This will be following a heartbreaking Game 3 loss last Saturday.
Even with that loss, many, including myself, have concluded that the Heat will jump back in this Game 4. The strongest reason for this is that the Miami Heat are overall the most put-together team when it comes to skill, depth, and chemistry.
The Miami Heat is an extremely skilled team when it comes down to it. The most skilled player is, of course, Jimmy Butler. Butler is a 5x All-Star, averaging 19.9 points. The next best players are probably Bam Adebayo and Goran Dragic. This is coupled with a phenomenal season by Tyler Herro, who, despite only being a rookie, is already playing at an elite level.
This Heat team also has an extreme amount of depth. They easily have about 10 players who can score in double figures. They also have a good mix of veteran talent, with the likes of Andre Iguodala, Jimmy Butler, and Goran Dragic, and young talents, such as Tyler Herro, Bam Adebayo, Duncan Robinson, and Kendrick Nunn.
Probably most importantly, this Miami Heat team has tremendous chemistry. For one reason or another, this team just simply clicks. This could be attributed to the renowned Heat culture. The culture of hard work and team before self.
There is not really a distinguished go-to guy for the Heat, but that is a good thing. One game, it might be Bam Adebayo putting up 30 points, another game it might be Jimmy Butler, and so forth. The Heat play with a fluidity, and you could say, trust that is not really present in many teams in the NBA. Chemistry is really important, especially when it comes to making it to the NBA Finals and winning a championship.
Nevertheless, Game 4 in this series is very much a must-win. Winning this game could put the Heat in a prime position to win this series and have the momentum to perform even better in the NBA Championship. For the reasons, I listed, I very much believe that this will be the case.
