Over the weekend I had the opportunity to go to Disneyland in California. Februrary 24th, 2017 is when they unveiled parts of Fantasyland to be re-themed as Belle's village, as a promotion for the newly anticipated Beauty and the Beast movie coming out on March 17th, 2017.

With new stuff happening at Disneyland, that must mean limited edition merchandise! Now before I tell you what the merchandise is that is only available at Disneyland at the moment, I need to tell you about the newly re-themed Village Haus restaurant. It is called the Red Rose Tavern, and it is supposed to mimic Gaston's Tavern from Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World.

This time they have the Gaston Stein that is only sold at the Red Rose Tavern, that also comes with LeFou's brew or in this case they call it Gaston's Brew (but we all know it's really LeFou's) which is the same cup they have at Gaston's Tavern in New Fantasyland in the Magic Kingdom at WDW. On one side it has the gaston sticker and on the other side is the Beast. Also they unveiled a new limited edition cup which is the Red Rose Cup which can be bought at Red Rose tavern. They also changed one of the fantasyland treat carts into "Maurice's Treats" where they also sold the Red Rose cup, served with a boysenberry slushie.

The food at the Red Rose Tavern is amazingly delicious. It is a quick service establishment so no reservations needed, but the lines can be long depending if they have the Red Rose cup in stock or not. Personally, I had the Poutine Flatbread which is about 10$ plus tax. It's essentially a flatbread with slow-cooked shredded beef, pommes frites (which is also served at Cafe Orleans at Disneyland), roasted Garlic Aioli, cheese curds, gravy and herb oil. Let me tell you, it is so freaking good. It filled me up really fast. Even without a drink or even dessert it was really filling. The Beast's Burger is a pretty big proportion so if anything split it with someone else, and get the grey stuff and the lemon rose cake.

The Grey stuff Gateu is the white chocolate mouse swirl and inside of it is red velvet cake with a raspberry center. It was really good and also very filling as well, and it's meant to be shared with friends and/or family. I didn't have the Lemon Rose Cake but it looked so good, and it also ran out just as fast as the grey stuff.

Now you can see Gaston walking around a lot more often than before in Fantasyland. Gaston does what Gaston wants. No one can tell him where to go or who to take pictures with, but if you toot his horn just a little bit he would gladly take a selfie of himself with you in it. With that being said, The Beast can be seen walking around Fantasyland with Belle from time to time, with weather permitting because the Beast does not like bad weather, as it ruins his fur and ruins Belle's dress.

The ambiance of Fantasyland is still just the same, except for the few little touches of Beauty and the Beast in the atmosphere. This is only there for a limited time only, so if you have a chance to go to Disneyland while this limited time magic is going on, I say do it especially if you are a huge Beauty and the Beast fan.
