Are you more of a Ron Swanson or Leslie Knope during work week?

It's work week, the 12-hour days when sororities get ready for recruitment, and it's going to be a long week full of lots of ups, downs and every emotion in-between. Every sorority has their own version of Ron Swanson, aka the girl with the sarcasm who just looks forward to eating during breaks. There's also the Leslie Knope of every sorority, the one who manages to stay peppy until the very end of the day and is always down for a pep talk. Then, there are the April's, Andy's, Tom's, Ben's and more in each house. Here's a look at how work week really is as told by the characters of "Parks and Recreation":

1. Drinking twice as much coffee than usual because you know caffeine’s the only way you’ll make it through the 12-hour day.

2. Having to deal with girls constantly complaining because they just don’t want to be there and "have better things to do."

3. Getting those tiny breaks and realizing it’s food time.

4. Having to go over the same thing time and time again because one or two people aren’t getting it.

5. Hearing the words “just one more time” when you’ve already sung the same song a million times. *This is why I have trust issues.*

6. Having those mini dance parties between activities and realizing work week isn’t the worst thing when you spend it with sisters.

7. Getting told to “keep your spirits high” or “just keep smiling."

8. Having to constantly practice conversations and you suddenly don’t even know how to form a sentence because words are hard.

9. You realize you're not even sure if you have eardrums anymore from all the loud chanting and singing from a room full of girls.

10. Realizing it’s 120 degrees in the room and hoping someone notices and opens up the windows and door.

11. Craving a nap toward the end of the day and barely being able to function like a normal human being.

12. Not getting an actual meal until late at night.

13. That feeling of finally being able to go home to curl up in bed. It's what you've been dreaming about almost all day.

14. Completely giving up on how you look by the end of the week because you're just so tired and you know you're going to have to put in a lot of effort next week for recruitment.

15. Going on a roller coaster of emotions (possibly more than once) throughout the week.

16. But you're not in it alone, and you’ll become even closer to your sisters and friendships will blossom even further.

17. Finally making it through work week and realizing it's recruitment time.

18. And recruitment means bid day is coming up, and that's the real goal here.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
