If you ever have been through surgery and you tend to have a constantly moving job, you'll know how I feel. Recovery is a time where you take it easy and do stuff that you are used to. Minus being a writer, I work outside. It is hard for me to not go for a walk outside or to go feel the sun on my face. Opening up my windows are okay but it isn't the same as walking and standing outside. Since I am used to moving around quite a bit, here is a list to things you can do while in recovery. Please, listen to your doctor and follow their instructions. If you can't do some of these things in recovery, don't do them.
1. Figure out why you have a sore throat.
2. Research how surgeries and sore throats come together.
3. Drink and eat cold things.
4. Read a book.
5. Imagine yourself going on adventures.

51. Get ice cream for a sore throat.
All of these probably won't be a good thing for everyone to do. You should always listen to your doctor or surgeon. My surgery was on my tailbone, so I can do alot of things except lay on my back. These were just a small portion of what I did while in recovery. You can use your creative imagination to go on more adventures or continue to learn something new. Just remember try to keep your brain engaged because doing absolutely nothing is both good and bad for you.
