1. Don't travel to London if you're searching for bland British food, because you'll find a ton of world cuisines.

2. If you're already sick of hearing about the Royal Family on the news, don't go to Kensington Palace, the beautiful place where the newly engaged couple will live.

Make sure you don't have tea there either. It's not flavorful at allllll.

3. While you're at it, don't see St. Paul's Cathedral, which is famous for many reasons including the wedding place of Prince Charles and Lady Diana.

What's so special about a cathedral that survived two major fires?

4. London has a giant Ferris Wheel in the middle of the skyline. So weird. No pretty views from it at all.

Oh, and don't go at sunset.

5. If you love going to bed before 7:30 every night, don't go to London. Dozens of plays start at 7:30 every night around the city that you can't miss.

You may run into a celebrity on or off stage. Yawn.

6. If you hate Harry Potter, avoid seeing Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, the Warner Brothers HP Studio Tours, and Platform 9 3/4, just to name a few.

If you relate to this one you're probably a Muggle.

7. If you're a Grinch, don't go to London in November or December because there are unique Christmas lights on every major street.

8. If you think art is pointless, don't go to London. Besides the National Gallery, the Tate Britain, Victoria and Albert Museum, and the Queen's Gallery, there's also a ton of street art.

9. If you'd rather see new apartment buildings on every street than beautifully preserved architecture, don't go to London. Many of its buildings are historical and have existed for hundreds of years.

10. If you think nature is terrible, find another big city to travel to. London has parks and gardens on almost every corner.

11. And if you hate cute baby animals, don't go to London. It's extremely dog/puppy friendly, so you'll see a lot of adorable puppies.

There's even a puppy cafe coming soon.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
