I love cooler weather, sweaters, and call me crazy but I love snow. Now that doesn’t mean I love driving in it, or being in it. I do not love the freezing cold that comes along after my cooler weather days are over. No, I love snow cause it means a few things that have grown very near and dear to my heart.

1. Hot Cocoa

I have always been a fan of hot chocolate, who isn’t?! But this weather means breaking out the big container of Swiss Miss Hot Chocolate, and warming up the keurig or putting your favorite mug into the microwave and waiting about 20 years for it to warm up. Hot Chocolate weather is my favorite cause it is typically followed by cuddling up with a warm blanket, watching the snow fall and listening to your favorite holiday jams.

2. Sweater Weather

Now I love sweaters. My wardrobe has a separate are where my sweaters hide and collect dust till Fall and Winter rolls around. Sweaters are baggy, toasty and just all around cozy. I enjoy them, and the fun times wearing them such as having a fire outback with some friends even though you all know dang well it is too cold to be doing that.

3. Hot Coffee & Warm Breakfasts

I love waking up to a cup of hot coffee and some warm eggs on toast in bed. Hint, Hint Babe. Anywho, Hot Coffee and Warm Breakfast is sometimes hard to have in the summer, its too hot or you’re sitting in an a/c room and the food or coffee gets cold way too fast. Fall mornings and snowy days always mean a warm cup of coffee and a warm breakfast in bed.

4. Thanksgiving and Christmas

Two really awesome holidays that I adore. I love Thanksgiving cause food is my favorite and who doesn’t love the food coma we all fall into cause turkey makes you want to nap? I know I love it, cause it’s the one time of year I can nap for 48 hours and no one will judge my choice. Christmas I love because I get really excited to give my friends or family things I found and chose just for them. Mostly, they all are aware cause I will either give it to them early or sit there and stare with a huge grin on my face waiting for them to open it. Side Note, I am always way more excited than they are.

5. PEPPERMINT MOCHA!!

YES. Peppermint Mocha is reason number five on my list, because I love this stuff. Hot coffee, ice coffee, hot cocoa and peppermint mocha treats! I learned my love for this coffee the first December I worked at Dunkin Donuts. I drank it all the time and I became addicted, but of course it is only seasonal.
