1. They Know Your Home Life
They’ve been to your house, they’ve met your family, they know where you come from. They physically see what you’re given and what you work for. They see the relationship you have with your parents, siblings, etc. The best way to know someone, is to see where they come from.
2. They’ve Seen You In Your Awkward Stage AND STILL LIKE YOU
Whether you went through a scene stage or you were experimenting with makeup and hair styles, everyone went through that stage where you like back and just wonder “why?” They saw you through that and still talk to you, aka they love you.
3. They Supported You Through All Your Decisions
In High School, you really were finding out who you are. You tried different things, made stupid decisions, sometimes acted like a brat, but they always supported you. They always knew who the real you was, they just had to wait out for you to figure it out yourself.
4. All The Amazing Memories You Share
Whether it’s pep rallies, big sporting events, concerts, local events, or anything, you had years of sharing your happiness with those people. Plus, there’s no better feeling then reminiscing with the people you shared those moments of pure happiness with.
5. That Feeling At Graduation
Whether you went to theirs, or they went to your, or you graduated together, you can’t forget that intense moment of sadness of knowing at least one of you is leaving. All the memories that you guys had together flooded through your head and you couldn’t help but break a tear knowing that you won’t be able to see them and make more for a long time. If it made you so sad then, then why wouldn’t you continue while your home and have the chance to?
