As sad as it is to see summer come to an end, I am looking forward to going back to my college because let's be honest we all receive the freedom we've always wanted back at school. Having freedom isn't the only reason I am looking forward to the fall semester, it's just one of the reasons. I am definitely not looking forward to the endless about of papers, presentations, and homework assignments that I will drown in by the end of the semester. Thus, here are some of the other reasons I look forward to going back.
1. Meeting the new freshman.
In my opinion, I like to meet as many new freshmen as I can because I remember how I felt when I was moving in on my first day of college and I like to reminisce. Also, it's nice to greet the freshman on their first day so they know they aren't alone in this big transition.
2. Having Responsibility.
I've always loved having responsibilities and having a schedule to do every single day because it keeps be busy, and gives me new experiences.
3. The endless memories this year will bring.
Every year I try to expand my horizons by joining new clubs, new opportunity's, and stepping out of my comfort zone because I believe doing those things will bring memories that you never expected to happen. We will make new memories with the same friends or with new friends that will last a lifetime.
4. Friends, friends and more friends.
Nothing makes me happier than seeing the friends that I didn't get to see all summer because of the distance or working like crazy. Seeing your friends for the first time is one of my top favorite things about coming back to school every semester.
5. I get to add to my Mount Saint Mary College clothes.
Who doesn't love supporting their college or university by wearing the apparel? I wouldn't be surprised if I had every color in the MSMC sweatpants by the end of my four years in school here.
6. Just being back in general.
If your excited about going back to school that just means you picked the right school for you. I really can't imagine not being excited or happy about going back to school and glad I don't have to feel like that.
