There are multiple reasons why we cry and most people only understand the negativity of tears. Crying can be a benefit, too. Sometimes, we just need to let it all out.

1. It helps your eyes.

Crying can clear debris from your eyes like those pesky eyelashes.

2. Pain relief.

Crying releases feel-good chemicals that can help soothe an individual.

3. It can improve the mood.

After crying makes you feel better.

4. It balances your emotions.

Sometimes, we feel one emotion more strongly than the others and crying can help balance the emotions once again.

5. It puts you to sleep.

Crying can make people sleepy.

6. It helps you forget the bad.

Once someone has a good cry, it helps him or her move on from whatever the source of tears was.

7. It allows you to move on with your day.

When all of the frustration is washed away with tears, then the day can proceed a bit smoother.

8. Tears can be joyful.

There are tears of joy. Ya know, when your so happy you cannot help but cry.

9. It brings people closer together.

Crying can make individuals closer and help them learn more about each other.

10. It tells you everything will be okay.

Sometimes, crying is negative, but it shows people that everything will be okay and there is always tomorrow.


Take some time every once in a while to give your mind and body a clense.
