The fall season officially starts on September 22nd, and ends on the 21st of December. I can't be any more excited about it. Fall has always been my favorite season for several reasons. Here are thirteen reasons why.

1. The Clothing

Sweaters, jeans, loose shirts, cute colors, shorts, dresses; you name it, I'm going to wear it. Most of the fall season, you can be comfortable in anything whether it's shorts and a t-shirt or a sweater and jeans. It's awesome. I love that I can wear anything in this season and be fine. Plus, fall clothing is cute, and the colors are some of my favorites. Plus, flannels everywhere! I love wearing flannel. It's one of my favorite styles.

2. The Weather

For most of the season, fall is not too hot nor too cold, and that's my favorite area to be in. For the most part, it's calm and cool. Walking outside in the fresh air is the best feeling. I spend a ton of time outside during the fall season whether its walking around, hiking, biking, at the beach, going to games, or just hanging out in one of my favorite spots. I don't have to worry about sweating either unlike summer when you sweat a lot even when you're just sitting down. Don't have to worry about the snow either which is awesome!

3. Sports

Football, Volleyball, and Basketball are my favorite sports. Football and volleyball start in late summer while basketball starts in late fall, but they all happen over the fall season. Football and volleyball, most of their season happens over the fall. I also like going to soccer games and cross country meets as well. I look forward to it! On Wisconsin!

4. The Changing Color of the Leaves

I love watching nature take its course. From green to red to orange to yellow and so on. The trees are really pretty this time of the year.

5. The Food

Baked goods, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, pies, caramel apples, mac n cheese, pasta, apple cider, chocolate, candy, pumpkin bread, pot roast, hot chocolate, tomato soup with grilled cheese, and the list goes on. Food during the fall is the best. Can't get enough.

6. Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays. The first thanksgiving was in 1621, but it didn't become an official holiday until 1863 when Abraham Lincoln made it official, and scheduled the holiday for the final Thursday in November. I love hanging out with my family, eating food, and watching football and the Macy's day parade. Plus, it's a good time to remind ourselves to be thankful for what we have in our lives, and appreciate what we have.

7. Halloween

This is Halloween. This is Halloween. (Sorry, had to.) All Hallows Eve. Carving pumpkins, festivals, costumes, candy, carnivals, corn mazes, and so on. It's all super fun. I loved this holiday more when I was a kid, but I still like the holiday and I think it can be fun for adults.

8. Haunted Houses and Corn Mazes

When I was in high school, I volunteered at the nearest haunted house, and it was a lot of fun. I'm glad that I did it. Going through them is a lot of fun as well. I can't wait to go to one this year.

9. Farmer's Market

You can get some of the best food at farmers' markets. Plus, you get to meet some pretty cool people.

10. Hay Rides

Sitting on a trailer filled with hay or straw while getting pulled by a trailer is a lot of fun. Going through the town, talking with friends, and just having a good time. On my bucket list, I want to go to a haunted hayride, and hopefully, I can do one soon!

11. Bonfires

One of my favorite activities during the fall are bonfires. Just hanging around a bonfire with friends; eating food, singing songs, and talking is the best. Some of my favorite memories are with my friends and family around the fire.

12. Pumpkin Carving

Growing up, it was tradition to carve pumpkins, and put them in the front our house. It was a lot of fun, but as I got older, I switched to painting. I now painting something on my pumpkins. It's just as fun.

13. Staying In

Fall has good days where it's a good time to just stay in to watch a movie, read a book, make food, or clean. Staying in can be just as much fun as going out.

Fall is a pretty cool season, and these thirteen reasons support that statement. I think the fall season will always be my favorite season. I don't think that will ever change.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

eye roll

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"

While this question trend can get annoying, there are a couple of pros to having RBF.

Yify

Another day, another Elle Woods comment. Can’t us blondes get through the day without someone harping at us over the typical stereotypes about who we are? I never understood why a person was judged based upon the hair color they were born with, or the hair color they choose to have (unless you dye your hair blue like Kylie Jenner, I’m still trying to understand why that’s a trend). Nevertheless, as it should be assumed, not everyone is the same. Not all blondes like bright colors and Lilly Pulitzer, and not all blondes claim to identify with Marilyn Monroe. I think the best suggestion to give to people before they make such radical claims is to stop judging a book by its cover. Or in this case, stop judging a blonde by her hair color.
