This may sound strange, but some of my fondest childhood memories are in Trader Joe's grocery store. Every Saturday morning, I would accompany my mom to Trader Joe's and to our other love, Target. This may not seem like a monumental affair, but this was truly bonding time with my mom where I got to truly love Trader Joe's. Here are my favorite things about the store!
1. The fact that I have most of their staple items memorized
2. Actually edible frozen food (most of the time, nobody's perfect)
3. FREE SAMPLES
4. There's a cute mini shopping cart for kids
5. FREE COFFEE
6. Spinach artichoke dip
7. The flower arrangements are beautiful
8. Slim dark chocolate pretzels
9. Tiki culture & decor
10. The copious amount of pumpkin flavored items that are released every fall including:
11. Pumpkin pancake mix
12. Pumpkin Joe's O's
13. A pretty good pumpkin pie
14. A new addition to fall: Pumpkin cowboy bark
15. Regular cowboy bark
16. A+ use of space
17. All of the eggs are from free range chickens
18. A+ customer service
19. There must be a talented artist in every staff because at every store I've been to the whiteboard and blackboard art has been crazy
20. Soup dumplings
21. If you ask a staff member, they will tell you their favorite items
22. Cheesy frozen burrito
23. Raffles
24. Ciabatta bread
25. How it's pretty much stayed mostly the same over the years
26. There was an original Trader Joe! (Joe Coulombe)
27. Fair prices for organic food
28. Honestly, the bags are pretty cute
The main thing to take-away from this is, if you haven't already, go to Trader Joe's.
