Goodbye Summer, hello Fall! Fall is like Goldilocks and the three bears; it's not too hot, it's not too cold...it's just right. Fall gives you a valid reason to snuggle up and drink a warm Pumpkin Spice Latte while feeling like a total white girl. Here are the top five reasons fall is the best.

1. The Weather

Thank you, Mother Nature, no more sweating my ass off while walking to class. Fall means I can finally step outside without instantly bursting into flames. Okay, maybe that's an exaggeration...but you get what I'm saying.

2. Fall Fashion

Fall is a great excuse to buy more sweaters and cozy clothes. In my case, take your online shopping addiction to a whole different level (sorry mom and dad). Cabin socks, flannel shirts, sweaters, and little booties. So take another sweater selfie while you're at it right?

3. How about a Pumpkin Spice Latte with that?

Finally!! It is now acceptable to be a total white girl. Of course, the cult classic Pumpkin Spice Latte is a must-have, even if you don't actually like Pumpkin Spice Latte's (c'mon, it's fall).

4. Watching Spooky Movies

Who doesn't love a little scare? FreeForm puts a spell on you by hosting their annual 13 Nights of Halloween. From Halloweentown to Scooby-Doo, tis the season for getting spooked!

5. Snuggle Season

What else are you going to do when its chilly and rainy outside? Of course, snuggle up next to each other under a warm blanket and turn on a movie. #cuffingseason

6. Halloween

If you're anything like me, you love Halloween. And I'm not just talking about October 31st, I'm talking about all the things leading up to it: the pumpkin carvings, hot apple cider, haunted house, hay rides. Nothing says fall more than some hot chocolate and roasted pumpkin seeds, and I'm not passing up on the chance to dress as crazy as I want.

7. Thanksgiving

Dear Lord Baby Jesus, lying there in your...your little ghost manger, lookin' at your baby Einstein developmental...videos, learnin' 'bout shapes and colors, THANK YOU FOR MASHED POTATOES. AMEN

So, don't fret summer break being over, because fall is without a doubt the best season. Yeah, you may have to hang up your bikini for a little while, but it's time to whip out your jeans, sweaters and boots, and go stand in a really long line to pay five dollars for a Pumpkin Spice Latte. Happy fall, y'all!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
