Really, there are only two things that will get me through Mondays. The first and most important being a giant, iced americano, and the second, and truly what gets me through the hardest day of the week, is watching "The Bachelor" later that night.

As many of you know, "The Bachelor" is a reality dating show that stars one eligible bachelor and many contestants who try to win his heart and the final rose. This season the bachelor is Arie Luyendyk Jr., a Dutch race car driver, and realtor who got his heart broke when he starred in Emily's season of "The Bachelorette."

The show is dramatic, there's a lot of tears and a lot of yelling, but maybe, in the end, Arie will finally find true love. Really this show is just a great excuse to gather with your friends, drink wine, and yell at the TV when Arie is picking the wrong girl. Which is why this is the best part of my Mondays.

Here are 10 reasons why you should ALWAYS have Bachelor Mondays with your friends.

1. It's something to look forward to on a Monday

Mondays are rough, but "The Bachelor" will always make it better.

2. You get to drink wine

White wine, red wine, whatever you need for the show.

3. There's no dress code

Show up in PJ's or even a shark costume like Alexis Waters when she met Nick Viall in season 21 of "The Bachelor."

4. The places they travel

In every season they go to amazing places around the world. Throughout the seasons they have traveled to places like The Bahamas, Belize, Aruba, Paris, New Orleans, Italy, Cabo, Barbados, New Zealand, Switzerland, Thailand, and Bali.

5. The drama

There's always at least one crazy contestant and the claws are out the win the Bachelor's heart. These ladies are trying to find true love and nothing will stop them.

6. Group dates

Group dates never fail to be uncomfortable and theatrical. They always do exciting stuff to have the contestants and bachelor break out of their comfort zone. Last season, the girls even got to perform with The Backstreet Boys.

7. After the Final Rose

Because of the DRAMA and digs back at the one who broke their hearts. You go, girl!

8. That one girl who is always wasted the first night

I don't think anyone can forget drunk Tara who was wobbling before the first rose.

9. You can pick your favorite contestant

Corinne

My favorite always is Corinne from Nick's season.

Seriously, I want to buy a t-shirt.

10. When the season is finally over, it means "The Bachelorette" or "Bachelor in Paradise" is coming

Wild and crazy episodes will soon come.

Don't be too sad, Mondays will be good again!

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
