Saori Murphy is a U.S. Army Veteran, artist, teacher, and creative soul worker whose art explores spiritual identity and the human condition. Her artwork has been featured in shows for the South Florida Museum, Morean Arts Center, Palladium Theatre, Straz Center for the Performing Arts, and several local galleries and businesses. Saori is the Director and Instructor for the Veterans Creating for Community Program (a program dedicated to working with veterans in recovery through the arts). She also teaches locally at her HeART Circle Studio and Painting with a Twist. She is a volunteer artist for the Florida Sheriff's Youth Ranch, Suncoast Center Inc., as well as other local outreach programs. Saori is a member of Americans for the Arts, National Initiative for the Arts & Health in the Military, the Veteran Art Center of Tampa Bay, and an advocate member of the Arts Action Fund. She holds a BFA from Ringling College of Art and Design, and is pursuing certification as a Master Facilitator in Intuitive Painting in the Expressive Arts and as a Spiritual Intuitive Healer.
