I'M IN LOVE WITH MY EX

"We divorced five years ago because of his cheating. We fell in love as teenagers, married young, had kids too soon, moved a bunch of times but through all of our struggles we were still in love. In our last year of marriage we began keeping secrets from each other. I took up smoking and he turned to internet porn and craigslist hook-ups. I was devastated when I learned the truth. Fast forward two years later, I got remarried. He moved away with his girlfriend. My new husband makes me feel safe. He's attractive and successful. We raise my three children and have one of our own. Problem is, I still think about my ex every night. I think about what would have happened if I had forgiven him. I thought we would be together forever." Tiffany, 31

MY FIRST LOVE

"I've been married for 12 years but I have never gotten over my first love. We were best friends in high school until he moved away. That is when I met my husband. We broke up for several months. During those months I had a romance with this guy. Due to unexpected circumstances we broke up and he moved away. I got back together with my now husband and we got married not too long after that. 12 years later I found out that my ex committed suicide. When we were dating he used to tell me he would not be alive five years from now. I knew he suffered from depression. All these years later I still love him. I cannot tell anyone about this so I am dealing with it on my own. It's been a year since he died and I still cry every night after my husband goes to sleep. I can't deal with this alone." Ida, 35

STALKER ALERT

"I stalked my ex and now were back together. We first broke up because we were young and inexperienced. I would monitor his online activities, checking where he is through his online account and IP activities, following him after his work shift, and leaving him gifts on his porch anonymously just because I like to see him smile. After six months of stalking, a mutual friend invited both of us to the same party where we reconnected. After getting back together I still stalk him occasionally." Lacey, 22

WOMANIZER

"I tell women I'm gay so that I can sleep with them. I am a straight man but telling women I'm gay makes them feel safe. After we sleep together and I get tired of them or get a better offer, I tell them I am going back to guys." Mackenzie, 26

SECRET ILLNESS

"I lost my career in the military because I suffer from an auto immune disease that attacks my liver. Five years later I am still battling this disease with pain everyday. I am in constant fear that this could kill me or end with a liver transplant. I have hidden this illness from my boss, co-workers, and friends. I hope I don't look back with regrets." Randall, 38

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
