Summer has always been my favorite season for one simple reason: the weather is always two things, hot and really hot. While I enjoy the fall because of the changing of scenery, I really don't like the unpredictability of the weather. I know it's not officially fall yet, and we're still technically in summer, but the amount of people getting sick is a good indication that fall is almost here.
In every building that I go in the temperature is different. In some buildings the AC is on, which calls for sweaters/hoodies, while in some other buildings the heat is on. In addition to the different temperatures in the buildings, we also have to take into account the weather outside. Deciding what to wear for school is one of the biggest challenges I face in the morning.
It is too early in the semester for me to miss weeks of school. Yes, when I get sick, I'm not out for a couple of days, I'm usually out for a week or longer. So no, I am not ready to get sick yet. As much as I miss my days of doing nothing except watching endless movies, and binge-watching countless episodes of shows on Netflix, I am not ready to fall behind in class yet.
Drinking Theraflu is my lifeline right now. The second I feel a little tickle in my throat, I pull out a packet of the green tea and honey flavor of Theraflu and put it in some hot water. Just like that, I feel so much better the next day.
