Re-watching your favorite show is much more than just wasting time on an afternoon because once you get that invested in watching it again, you must really have a connection with that show. Movies and shows are their own therapy for nostalgia. Within our favorite shows are scenes that can bring out so many emotions, can make us remember significant events or even brighten up a stressful day. What a better way to catch up on your shows before a new series, or even introduce them to your friends and create new memories! This goes for all your favorite series and movies!

1. For appreciation of the show

If you don't have a show you want to re-watch, do you really appreciate the show? What better way to appreciate your favorite show than by watching it again to remember the hilarious jokes and to appreciate the memories and inside jokes it has given you and your friends and or family.

2. Easy pick

Not only is it easier to pick something you've already seen rather searching through Netflix and reading all about different shows, but you already know you love it! So, next time you don't know what to watch- you can choose the easy pick and revert to something you know you love!

3. The detail

Notice how many minute details you missed the first time because you were too eager to get to the next big part! Plus it gives you a chance to notice the little details so that you can become an even better fan who knows more about the show!

4. Nostalgia

Our favorite shows often help us remember the past and make us feel good in the midst of whatever is going on! When in doubt, use your favorite show to relive a past memory!

5. The first season is always the best

In almost every case, you know the first season is the best- no doubt about it! What better way to reminisce on the first season and its goodness than to watch it over again! But after you finish the first season you will probably be hooked all over again!

6. Understanding

You will always further understand something the second time around. Another perk is making connections that you didn't make before!

7. New seasons

It is always helpful to re-watch your favorite show before the newest season comes out! Not to mention the anticipation that leads up to the season finale but this time you actually get to watch it followed by the new season. No matter how long it takes, it's worth it.

8. Re- watch with friends

Don't just tell your friends to watch it, watch it with them! This is something that you can share with your friends because if you love it, there is a chance they will too! Not only that but you can make it a weekly date to get together and watch it or even just have nights filled with binge watching your shows and ice cream! Not to mention this is great for a date night idea!

9. Some things just never get old

I mean seriously, you know this show is guaranteed good and you won't be disappointed! No matter how many people think re-watching a Netflix series is just bizarre, you know they watch their favorite Christmas movie every year. It's never just one and done with something that you have a connection with!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
