2017 has been an incredible year for music, especially in the genre of hip-hop. Heavyweights like JAY-Z, Kendrick Lamar and Drake have already dropped great projects, while collaborative tapes between Future and Young Thug and the A$AP Mob have provided rap lovers plenty of material.

There is still a little time left before the new year, so it's not unrealistic a few more major projects will close out a terrific rap 2017. To celebrate the year and to speak it into the universe, here are seven projects that we need before the end of 2017, but will definitely also really appreciate dropping in early 2018.

1. Quavo and Travis Scott "Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho"

The long-awaited project between the already successful collaborators may finally arrive this December. Scott and Quavo have a history of fantastic chemistry on songs like "Oh My Dis Side" and the smash hit "Pick Up the Phone" which also features Young Thug. Also, if Thugga wants in on this album in any way, making that happen should be priority one. Quavo-Scott-Thug is the modern rap fans dream, and not an impossibility, giving hope to a world that needs it wherever it may come.

2. Chance the Rapper Untitled Project

Despite a huge year from Chano, in which he received three Grammy awards, Chance has been somewhat quiet musically. Recently the Chicago rapper has been previewing a new project besides the second Christmas album he and Jeremih will be releasing. Plunging into the middle of a cold winter with new tunes would certainly brighten many excited Chance fans new year.

3. Migos and Young Thug "MigosThuggin"

Although this project has been teased and never released for years now, fans are still desperately awaiting this collab. Hopefully the success of Thug and Future's "Super Slimey" will help to make "MigosThuggin" a final reality.

4. Pusha T "King Push"

Another long-delayed project, "King Push" should drop soon to cement the Pusha as one of rap's greats. The underrated former member of Clipse and President of Kanye's GOOD Music label, time is now.

5. Frank Ocean Untitled Project

It seems that in today's hip-hop environment that anyone could drop anytime, especially true of everyone's favorite anti-star star Christopher Edwin Breaux a.k.a. Frank Ocean. After dropping both "Blonde" and "Endless" last year, Frank has hinted that his next album is finished. Ocean has blown up this year, and to cap it off with a last quarter album would be an extraordinary move by the enigmatic singer.

6. GOOD Music "Cruel Winter"

President Push, Kanye, Big Sean, Desiigner and all their friends need to link up again for the delivery of this long-rumored project. The talented label is made up of some of rap's best and needs to be heard.

7. Kanye West "TurboGrafx 16"

Probably the longest-shot of a list of long-shots, Kanye's next video game inspired album would be a fitting end for a year of most rap stars releasing great material. After a characteristically eccentric and odd 2017, dropping a surprise album this year would cement Kanye's status as one of the greats, not that he wasn't there already.

8. $ki Mask the Slump God "The Book of Eli"

Ski has already confirmed that his new tape would be dropping in the next few days, supremely exciting news for fans of one of rap's next big things.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
