The open road.

You are flying does the highway going at least 20 over the speed limit the whole time. There is no one in front of you and everyone is behind you. All of your favorite songs keep blaring through the speakers, and you are belting out the lyrics better than the artists could.

You come to a stoplight, an inevitable delay. As you are sitting at the light, you see a green car pull up to your right, and it isn't one that you recognize from your rearview mirror just moments earlier.

As you look over at the new imaginary opponent, the driver is already looking at you and you make eye contact. It is obvious that you are accepting a challenge to a race that he has initiated.

You turn back to face the light. Waiting for the bright red to change to a neon green as you steal glances of the opponent next to you.

As you begin to take your foot off the gas, the car rolls forward anticipating the starting light. The car next to you begins to roll too. The anticipation begins to sink in, and your heart begins to beat faster.

The light turns green. Immediately your foot jumps to the gas pedal and you are off. The world begins to melt around you as your only focus is the road ahead. The green car that was next to you begins to slowly creep into your rearview mirror. There is now no one around you. The road is yours and you have won.

As you continue to speed down the highway you pass through multiple stoplights, beating their red lights by mere milliseconds.

It is a wide open world. As the world goes by around you, there are endless places to go. The green car you left behind now can't even be seen, and your mind is clear.

Nothing is bothering you and nothing can bother you.

G-Eazy's voice in the background and the feeling of the sun through the windshield are the only things on your mind.

Road rage is at an all time low, but you're at an all time high belting out lyrics to every song and letting the world pass by.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
