Little freshman me had no idea the girl I met in the wrestling office would eventually become someone I talk to almost daily.
It actually started almost a year later when I assisted you with administrative tasks for our camp program. At this time, I was basically adopted. Fast-forward to the next semester, when we added two more people to our little family, and thus it became one of my core friend groups.
I consider all my best friends to be the ones where I can't pinpoint when we became such good friends. That's the case here. I don't know when the two of us went from working together to having "family outings," but I couldn't be happier about it.
We bonded over a weird range of things, from wrestling to "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia." I remember spending all of the 2017 Wrestling NCAA Championships text-yelling at each other because we weren't happy about how the finals matches were going. Now that I think about it, that might've been the moment this family started.
So thank you for the family, the friendship, and everything else that's happened in the past couple years. As much as you want to get out of here, I'm glad you're still around for another semester.
