Dear Eastern University, we the students on campus have a few questions we would like to ask you. As students who represent the university, we expect an answer. We do not necessarily expect a change, but we do expect an explanation.

1. Why is the food so terrible?

2. Why doesn't Sodexo season their food?

3. Why doesn't Sodexo allow us to take more than one to-go?

4. Can they do an all day breakfast?

5. Why is the classics section for Sunday brunch the same thing every week?

6. why does it end so early for breakfast?

7. why does the dinning commons close so early for dinner?

8. Why is JJ closed on the weekends?

9. Why do freshman only get 50 flex dollars, when 50 dollars barely lasts a month?

-Why are we not allowed to choose anything other than the unlimited meal plan with the $50 in flex?

10. Why do we have a life fitness requirement?

11. Why is the gym closed during Chapel?

12. Why is there still no visitation Wednesday?

13. Why is there only one ATM on campus?

-Why is for Santander? Why not a more well-known bank like TD or wells Fargo?

14. Why do the residents halls not have more washers and dryers?

15. Why do we have to pay to do our laundry when we already pay a lot in tuition, room & board etc?

16. Why do some of the community bathrooms not have paper towels for students to use?

17. Why couldn't I move off campus?

18. Why aren't there more parking spaces?

19. Why aren't there cameras on campus?

20. Why isn't there more lighting on the paths?

21. Why are there so many ways to get fined?

22. Why does the internet suck?

23. Why can't I do nothing if there's a student account hold?

24. What's the point in 8 am classes?

25. Why doesn't security have a stop to drop off students at kea/guffin?

26. Why can't security take us/pick us up to/from the Wayne train station?

27. Why is security the same as transportation?

28. Why is the music department so unorganized?

29. Why aren't there more garbage cans around campus?

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
