Gossip Girl here! Your one and only source into the scandalous lives of Manhattan's elite. Looks like we have some loose ends to tie up from unanswered questions about the Upper East Side. Will we ever find the answers?
XOXO,
Gossip Girl

1. Who exactly is Chuck Bass's mother?

Still very confused on this subject, but hey, at least Jack Bass isn't Chuck's father. My bet is the woman from Bart Bass's grave, but I think we can all be thankful that we can rule out Diana.

2. Why did Lilly remarry her ex-husband who attempted to give her fake-cancer and fled from the authorities instead of explaining?

There is zero trust in this relationship. I see that Dr. Vanderwoodsen truly just wanted to reconnect with his children and wife, but he put poor Lily through so much pain. They say that if you truly love something, then you should let it go, so why didn't Dr. Vanderwoodsen admire her from afar instead of sabotaging her life?

3. Exactly how many marriages did Lily VanderWoodsen have?

I seem to have lost count but I guess that is just how the Upper East Side rolls.

4. What would happen to me if I acted like Chuck Bass all of the time?

When Chuck wants to prove his point and someone doesn't recognize him, he just smugly grins and says, "I'm Chuck Bass," like the whole world revolves around him. Though, I think if I were to use the excuse "Do you know who I am? I'm Rachel Cathey," I would be just seen as an entitled narcissist.

5. Why did Louis turn out to be such a jerk?

To be fair, I thought the one sabotaging the relationship between Louis and Blair was Louis's sister and her priest boyfriend who needed a way to the throne to be an acceptable suitor. Though, when the priest is out of the picture, Louis turns cold and falls short to his mother and sister's predicaments. My heart was breaking for Blair but deep down I was still rooting for Chuck Bass.

6. What in the world gave Rufus the idea that a relationship with Ivy was okay?

He broke his marriage off with Lilly and suddenly his rebound is the con-artist who is simultaneously in a relationship with Lily's other ex-husband? This whole situation is extremely creepy and borderline illegal.

7. Did Georgina not have anything better to do than ruin a ton of other people's lives?

To be honest, Georgina really should have moved on after the original incident she and Serena had. Somehow, she kept weaseling her way back into the upper East Side and I can't help but wonder why she had nothing better to do with her life than stir up high school drama many years later?

8. Out of all places to hide, why did Bart Bass hideout in a brothel?

Though I'm not surprised that any of the Bass men would ever be caught in a brothel, it doesn't seem like an incognito hiding place for a man who faked his own death and is hoping to not be found. If you do not want anyone to find you, it is probably best not to hide in such a scandalous place that could get busted by the police at any moment. For such a rich business man, you would imagine he'd think his options though more.

9. Do you think that Dorota and Vanya's children will grow up to be a house maids and bell boys?

Dorota and Vanya seem to have the best relationship out of all of the characters on Gossip Girl, and as far as the cast goes, Its safe to say that they are everyone's favorite couple behind Chuck and Blair. Through out the seasons, Dorota and Vanya have two children and I can't help but wonder if their children will work for Blair and Serena's children in the future?

10. How many times did Serena say, "I have to go"?

To be fair, this may have worked as an excuse once or twice, but Serena probably should think of a new reason to flake if she wants people to stop questioning her trustworthiness. Where? Where must you suddenly go, Serena? You're friends need an explanation as to your frequent disappearances.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
