10 Qualities Your S.O Should Have

Everyone dreams of meeting the perfect significant other, but what does that really mean? I asked around and this is what the people responded with.. so, lets dive in.

Respect

If your man or woman doesn't respect you what are doing? Like seriously. Relationships are hard work and should be 50-50 between the both individuals. If your significant other does not treat you as an equal or with respect you better say "baby bye bye bye" (and yes I just jammed out to that song).

Humor

Laughing is one of the most amazing and perfect things known to human existence. A smile may not always be on your face because like I said before, relationships are hard work and consist of many obstacles.. But those obstacles will be passed through and it will always be a good idea to have a smile on your face knowing you can be with the one you love. Also, who doesn't love someone when they can put a smile so fast on their face after an argument or when you are having a moment.. because I sure do.

Loyalty

I am pretty sure this is self explanatory. No one likes a cheater. just sayin'

Commitment

If your significant other cannot see a future with you in some way, there is no commitment there.. because who wants to date someone to just date or have 'mess around' with them. People date to see where it will end up and that is something that can and should never be taken for granted.

Adventurous

WHO DOES NOT LIKE SOMEONE WHO IS FUN AND SPONTANEOUS AND adventurous??! Please tell me!! Being with someone who is down to do anything (within reason) is your type of person. No one wants to sit there doing nothing all of the time.

Flirty

The honeymoon phase will eventually pass, so keeping up the spark can be a little tricky at times. The occasional compliment, name calling, hype up are always welcomed and necessary. Just one can go such a long way. Making your significant other feel loved is so beneficial

Willing to be Open

A lot of people say it is bad when boys let their emotions show or when and how girls can be over emotional about situations. And to be completely honest, problems arise in relationships because of miscommunications and not being open or expressive about how you feel. Like Twitter said, "if you don't come tell your girl first, what are you doing?"

Trust and Honesty

Relationships are based on trust. Once that trust is gone, it is game over. There is not a clean slate like people think can be wiped clean or a start over button. Trust takes a long time to be built and can be so easily destroyed.

Friendship

If your significant other is not one of your best-friends, what are you doing?????? Best-Friends are literally the best things on this planet, which is obviously why they are called the best ;) They are someone you can always run to when the going gets tough.

Reliability

If your significant other is always there for you and helps you get through thick and thin without turning the other direction, it takes a lot of strength and just honestly being a good person to do that. Calling them in the middle of the night when you need someone to talk to, or staying up with someone when they need a shoulder or favor. Reliability is one of the best qualities a person can have.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
