This article goes out to all of my fellow picky eaters out there. Do not get us wrong we love food. We love food so much, but unlike other people, we only like few and far between foods. We have a very specific list of foods that we will eat and not eat. We are also very picky about how it is served and how we eat it. We may be picky, but we know what we like! Here are some struggles of a really picker eater.

You get nervous when you have to eat at someone's house or when someone offers to cook for you.

Basically, you only eat about 10 different foods. So when you go to someone else house the odds of them having something you can eat is very rare. You do not want to be rude so you try to just make it through. You are used to people making comments about having nothing on your plate, but you just go with it now.

People tell you that you eat like a child.

OK so maybe this is true, but it is who we are. We really cant help it. We know that we may like some of the things we refuse to try, but we just are not interested. We love the basics and love a good juice box. We do not really get into all that fancy food and we can even refuse a whole group of food.

People are always trying to get you to try their food.

We try, we really do but we just like what we like and don't what we don't. We just are not adventurous when it comes to school. People may try to sneak food onto your plate or into your other food. They are always promising that this food will change your life, but you just are not into the risk.

Some food is terrifying.

We all have those one foods that if they are even on our plate all of the other foods are ruined. Our whole appetite can be gone with just one bad experience with a food. We refuse to have the gross foods even near the same place as our food. You may even have a fear of food fights for the thought of getting covered in a terrible food.

You have learned that sometimes you'll just have to starve.

sometimes your at an event and they do not have any of the only ten foods you eat. Basically, you are used to just starving until you can go home and bust open the easy mac. You know how to wait out now for food because you have been stuck in so many situations.

You bring your own food places.

You are not afraid to sign up to bring something to a party because at least you'll have at least one food to eat. You have been known to take snacks places so you don't go hungry. You bring your own foods to sporting events or cookouts and you have no shame.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
