There is so much hate, negativity, tragedy, and disconnection within our world today. It is portrayed through politics, religious beliefs, financial income, and more. These particular examples greatly impact our everyday lives. Young concertgoers were caught up in the wrath of something much larger, but still yet to be identified. A single person (male, age 22) detonated a nail bomb at 10:33pm near the main exit of the Manchester arena on May 22nd after Ariana Grande had just finished her Dangerous Woman Tour in Manchester, England. This bomb killed 23 people, including the bomber, and injured over 50 innocent people.
Ariana Grande gained a large amount of her following from being on Nickelodeon's popular television series', Victorious and Sam & Cat. Acting on a television station in which targeted a young demographic, creating pop music, and spreading love, compassion, and awareness about equality to everyone she meets/impacts, has led to Grande's younger audience. A large portion of Grande's audience for her Dangerous Woman Tour has consisted of young children and young adults. Rumors are surrounding the Manchester tragedy, but it has been identified as a terrorist attack.
Ariana Grande has been a role model for so many people as she spreads love and kindness to all. The event following her tour portrays the complete opposite of what Grande stands for, leaving her devastated and "broken." It is said that Grande has contacted the families of victims in which have been identified, sending condolences and even offering to pay for funerals of the victims, but this has not been confirmed. This would be an incredible gesture, portraying Grande's kind and loving soul.
Throughout the evening following the bombing, twitter pages were created to reconnect families who had lost connection throughout the night while attending the concert. Hotels around the area were sheltering those seeking their families as well.
Ariana Grande later broke her silence and tweeted, "broken. from the bottom of my heart, i am so so sorry. i don't have words." Grande had a great amount of support directed towards her, along with everyone affected by the devastating attack in Manchester

Ariana Grande continues to create fun, energetic, and open environments for her fans, a 'safe space' for all while attending her concert(s). This terrible event will forever alter security standards, Grande's peace of mind, and the lives of all affected by the terrible incident
As an avid Ariana Grande fan, this event is very eye-opening as I have seen her in concert 4 times now. This terrorist attack shows all that terrible events can happen anywhere, and to anyone. Ariana's concerts are very upbeat, inviting, and heartfelt. Her personality is portrayed throughout the show with the pre-show music, different effects, videos, dancing throughout the show, and the heart-to-heart conversations from Ariana to her audience.
My heart goes out to anyone affected by the bombing at Manchester Arena. May we all, #PrayForManchester during these difficult times, keeping those affected by this terrible incident very near and dear to our hearts. Our world is forever changing, we must hold onto those around us and live everyday like it is our last.
