Prayers Up For NBA Players

I would never wish these tragedies upon my worst enemy.

Injuries are something that we--especially as sports fans--never wish upon anyone. Although it's always devastating to learn someone's suffered this, it's always more tragic when this happens to a player who plays a key role and has such potential and talent.

Here are a few notable players who will be out for the rest of this season:

DeMarcus Cousins

Personally, this was the most heartbreaking to see. Cousins is such a talented and elite player, not to mention one of the best big men in the league, and to see him have to suffer a season-ending injury is absolutely devastating.

One of the more heartbreaking things dealing with his injury is the fact that he had the potential to make a playoff run with fellow big-man teammate Anthony Davis.

These two have combined for insane amounts of points in numerous games; watching them play is scary to watch, imagine actually going against them?

Then of course there's the All-Star Game, which he unfortunately has to miss due to his Achilles injury.

Boogie, if I could donate my Achilles, I would.

Kristaps Porzingis

Seeing someone so young get a season-ending injury is just so tragic. This young stud has become the franchise player in New York, and has become such a dominant force on the court.

Without the Zing god, the Knicks have the tendency to struggle and make such silly mistakes like miscommunication on passes.

Jeremy Lin

Lin's injury was so early on in the season that it almost didn't seem believable.

Though Lin hasn't been as big of a name since his days in New York, the young point guard has still been able to grow accustomed to his role with the Brooklyn Nets.

Mike Conley

Mike Conley of the Memphis Grizzlies is one of the most underrated players in the league. This point guard has had such defining offensive players during his time in Memphis, and is usually "snubbed" from the ASG.

Just go look at his numbers--go ahead, I'll wait.

I haven't watched his injury, but the fact that he's out for the season really hurt me.

Conley, if I could donate my heel to you, I would.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
