Real talk— adulting is hard. It comes quick and it comes at you full speed. One day you're debating on skipping class because of going out on a weeknight and, the next thing you know, you're planning your hours of asleep. Yes, ok, fine. Life after college isn't all that bad because that's when life starts rolling and exciting things happen. It's just a complete 180 from how things used to be. Here's the truth and realities of post-grad life as told by the "Friends" phenom, Pheobe Buffey:
When your friends get jobs all over the country...
When you discover that you have to wake up an extra hour earlier because of commuting...
When you get the letter regarding when your student loans will start...
When you finally pick a night to go out and your other adulting friend says no because they have work the next morning...
When you realize you're too busy for any sort of relationship...
When you see how much money is taken out for taxes...
When you're the baby at work and it's totally obvious...
When you visit your school and see all your graduation-bound friends...
When your boss treats you like an intern...
The people you see on your commute to work drive you literally insane...
That moment you realize you need to make a lot more money in order to move out...
The weirdos at the bar are incomparable to those in a college town with a college demographic...
If you have an apartment or on the hunt for one, the rent literally makes you nauseous...
You still can't take those critical, "adult-like" conversations all that seriously...
When people ask you what you're doing Saturday night, this is your answer 8 times out of 10...
Sometimes you feel the fear of missing out when you see your undergraduate friends act like delinquents...
There's a good chance your new tolerance is awful...
When friends get engaged or pregnant you can't relate but...
