Opinions are what makes a person human.

It's in our DNA to have opinions and thoughts and to want to say them. Though sometimes it can seem like the majority of people like Oreos or listen to Chainsmokers, sometimes that isn't the case.

Here are some popular, unpopular opinions floating around today.

1. Taking pictures of food is an art.

2. Beards on men aren't attractive.

3. Society is filled with whiny cry babies.

4. Elementary school camp wasn't that fun and I don't know why teachers lied and said it would transform us cause all I got was lots of cuts from walking around lost in the dark with my class.

5. Binge watching a good TV show or reading an enticing book beats going out and partying any day.

6. Fall is 10x better than summer will ever be.

7. Beyoncé is OVERRATED.

8. Trump is a GOOD President.

9. There is no "right" way to eat a KitKat.

10. The Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone Spider Man Movies are better than all the others.

11. Harry Potter was never as amazing as everyone put it out to be.

12. Toilet paper has no need to have commercials; who isn't buying it?

13. Porn ruins love.

14. Rap music is overplayed and overhyped.

15. The Fault in Our Stars wasn't really that good

16. I'm not in love with Hillsong. They have some good songs, but I'm not falling on my knees amazed by it. There are better Christian songs.

22. Blair and Chuck's relationship on Gossip Girl isn't goals, it's toxic.

23. Orange and blue never look good together.

24. Raisins are yummy.

25. Buffalo wings aren't that great.

26. Still bitter over the fact that we never saw Travis again after Hannah Montana: The Movie.

27. Can JK Rowling stop "revealing" new facts about Harry Potter? It's over and done with, she's rich and does not have to worry about staying relevant.

28. Good Luck Charlie was the last great Disney show.

29. L.A. is overrated.

30. Amazon is taking over the world.

31. Boy Meets World and Girl Meets World are the worst shows to ever air. I don't get the hype.

32. Cutting your bangs above your eyebrows isn't attractive.

33. It's vital that every dog is dressed up for at least Christmas.

34. Grown-ups text and drive WAY more than teenagers.

35. Parents who count to three when warning their children in public are annoying. Just spank them. Counting down only gives them three more seconds of bad behavior.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
