Windows down,

hair flying everywhere,

music blasting,

singing loudly without a care.

Red tail lights all around,

traffic for miles and miles,

stuck on the same ground

and can't move through the trial.

Speeding down the highway

savoring the windy backroad

life flashing through our rear-view

then the times seems to slow.

Life is filled with many roads

some are sunset and joy-filled

while others are covered in potholes.

They are all part of the road-trip thrill.

Our life is a never-ending trip

with no destination until death,

just pit stop along the side strip

and a forever "recalculating" GPS.

Every tail light and license plate

has their own map and story

What a blessing it is to cross journies

even just at stop sign, in a hurry.

In the end, the journey is all we have,

it is all we have ever had.
