Life is anything but a garden of blooming flowers. There are stormy days but eventually, it's accompanied by a rainbow. We all live for something. It's up to us to find what that is.
I live to find the beauty in people.
Like snowflakes, no two people are alike. Every person you meet has their own story. A story you never guess by just looking at them. Once someone opens up to you, the air around you becomes still and rigid, but somehow it transitions into a vulnerable moment. Because once you let someone know your story, allows them to know apart.
However, there are some of us who part take in this rare moment of intimacy who end up hurt because the person they've trusted left. That feeling of pain is relentless and I would never wish that on anyone. It's not understood how you can leave someone once they've given you an insight of the life they've liven. Especially, the thought of putting someone through exactly what they've shared with you. It's sickening. They've been robbed of something that was invaluable. They cannot take back the pertinent words that were exchanged. The person that parted so abruptly, took a story that doesn't belong to them.
I live to find the beauty in people. I believe it's our job as human beings to share and to listen. Life is an experiment. It's impossible to anticipate what can happen next in our lives. And it's foolish to think otherwise. Sometimes, we go through our life closed off in fear of getting hurt but we're not truly living if we don't experience the good and the bad. In my life, I've learned that everything will work out how it's supposed to. There's no need to question the 'why' or the 'how' just have faith that it will. We all have a story to tell. What's yours?
